Liv Morgan sustains head bump in Raw backstage attack
Liv Morgan sustained a visible bump on her head during a backstage segment on Monday Night Raw when Stephanie Vaquer pushed her into stablemate Roxanne Perez. Vaquer, Morgan's WrestleMania 42 opponent, then threw Morgan into a television screen. Both wrestlers posted photos of their injuries on social media.
Morgan thanked Perez backstage for helping fend off Vaquer the previous week before the champion ambushed them. Morgan shared images of the bump on X with the caption, "You’re mine now b---h." Perez posted photos showing a bump on her forehead as she applied ice.
Vaquer has held the Women’s World Championship for nearly 200 days since winning the vacated title at Wrestlepalooza in September by defeating Iyo Sky. Morgan previously carried the belt from May 2024 until losing it to Rhea Ripley on the Netflix premiere of Monday Night Raw in January 2025.
Vaquer defends the title against Morgan at WrestleMania 42, with the match still scheduled despite the injuries. Wrestling Observer reported Tuesday that both competitors entered concussion protocol following the segment.
