Sol Ruca Trusts WWE Timing for Main Roster Move
WWE NXT wrestler Sol Ruca expressed contentment with staying on the brand as long as management requires. She aims for promotion to the main roster by 2027 but trusts company officials to decide the right moment. "I am completely content being here as long as I need to," Ruca said. "I would rather get called up when the time is right than not. Ideally, I would love to be on the main show in 2027, but I trust that they know what’s right, and I trust they know when the time is ready."
Ruca debuted in NXT with high-flying maneuvers that drew fan attention. She has appeared on the main roster, including a SmackDown tag team match with former partner Zaria, competition at the Evolution premium live event and a spot on December's Saturday Night’s Main Event selected by John Cena to showcase future stars.
Ruca captured the NXT Women’s North American Championship at last year’s Stand & Deliver. She later added the WWE Women’s Speed Championship to become a double champion. The NXT Women’s Championship remains the only singles title she has not won.
Ruca faces Zaria at this year’s Stand & Deliver on Saturday night. A victory could position her as a contender for the NXT Women’s Championship.
